Medic Battle Jerkin |

 This is the new Battle Jerkin-Medic , Pattern '05 Mk1
The Concept behind this Jerkin is that the medic can access the medical equipment
easily while wearing the Jerkin and treating wounded on the battlefield.
The body of the Jerkin is made of 500 denier Cordura and lined with Polyester mesh and Titan fabric , There is 10 mm open cell foam behind the pouches.
The Pouches are made of 1000 denier Cordura , The Magazine pouches are lined with Cordura 500 , The Backpack is made of 500 & 1000 Cordura and the IV pouches from 420 Nylon and clear Vinyl .
All buckles except the Annex buckles on the back of the backpack are NATO standard in a Kaki colour and are IRR treated , The webbing is Mil-spec nylon , The thread Icabond 40 nylon , YKK Durucoil 5 & 9 zippers with auto-locking sliders .
•. 2 large front pouches that open with zips , They have many internal pockets & elastic loops and have an external zippered pockets.
•. 2 magazine pouches which can take 3 m-16 mags each , They have a silent & velcro opening , plus 3 small pockets on the sides of each pouch for a FFD , Sticklight etc.
•. 2 hand & 1 smoke Grenade pouches & a flashlight holder.
•. 2 side pouches with 3 internal mesh pockets and 1 nylon pocket to put in a NATO waterbottle and metal cup ( British Army )Has compression straps.
•. 2 Internal map and kit pockets .
•. The Yolk & shoulder straps have PALLS webbing sewn on.
•. The Backpack attaches onto the yolk with Annex buckles and has , 2 side pockets for the IV pouches , They open downward. A internal pocket for a Water bladder with a opening for the hose. A combat helmet pouch on the lid and an expanding body with compression straps.
•. 2 IV pouches that open out and contain all the medic needs to give a IV, They sit inside the Backpack's side pockets and are easily pulled out.
